Golden Mummies of Egypt (Hardback)

New Premium Edition hardback version of the popular Golden Mummies of Egypt by Campbell Price presents a rich perspective on Egyptian mummies and Western approaches to them.

Based around an exhibition of the Manchester Museum's collection and informed by the history of its development, Campbell Price's treatment, with stunning photography by Julia Thorne, offers many new insights into ancient practices and their modern interpreters.

Developed and produced in partnership with Nomad Exhibitions, Golden Mummies of Egypt, explores beliefs about the afterlife during an era when Egypt was part of the Greek and Roman worlds.

Golden Mummies of Egypt is our opening exhibition. This one-of-a-kind cultural experience opens in February 2023.
